PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire-testing apparatus, capable of surely preventing slip of an endless belt, even at a high speed and capable of obtaining accurate testing conditions. SOLUTION: A wet running test can be performed, by supplying water to the tire running surface of an endless belt 15 from a water sprinkling nozzle. Here, a part of the water supplied to the running surface creeps into the inner surface of the endless belt 15, from the end in the lateral direction of the endless belt 15 to penetrate in the gap between the inner surface of the belt and a drive drum, and the gap between the inner surface of the belt and a follower drum 14 to form water films. It can be considered that the endless belt 15 is made to slip forcibly by the water films, but since the water penetrated in the gaps between the belt and the drums is discharged to the outside via the peripheral grooves 32 provided to the outer peripheral surfaces of the drums as drain grooves, the slippage of the endless belt 15 can be prevented, even at a high-speed running test, and accurate testing conditions of the test tire can be obtained.
