PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prevention device for a paper sliding door so as not to be left open that can stably get a temporary fixed condition and temporarily and surely prevent the paper sliding door from being left and which can be beyond easily put in and taken off from a component body of a window frame and a stile of the paper sliding door. SOLUTION: A prevention device 2 for a paper sliding door 1 leaving open is supported on a window frame 5 equipped with a doorjamb 4 that has a horizontal projection 3 in one body to move freely in a direction of R around an axis 6 of the above window frame 5 and under the condition that the sliding paper door is shut a stile 9 equipped with a stile 8 that has a horizontal projection 7 in one body is opposite to the projection 3 of the door frame 5 and is temporarily fixed whereby the condition that the paper sliding door left open is prevented.
