PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body to be recorded for a thermal transfer recording which improves thermal sensitivity and can make a recording by low energy or a high speed recording possible, and to provide a thermal transfer recording method using the same. SOLUTION: The body to be recorded for the thermal transfer recording transfers a thermal transfer layer of a thermal transfer recording medium and forms an image, and has a feature that its thermal diffusion factor is 0.03 cm2/sec or less. The body for the thermal transfer recording has a feature that a low thermal diffusion layer having a thermal diffusion factor of 0.03 cm2/sec or less is provided on the surface contacting the thermal transfer recording medium. |
