PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lithographic printing plate which is superior in printing durability and chemical resistance, and which doe not cause color remaining. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a lithographic printing plate, a photosensitive lithographic printing plate is prepared by applying a photosensitive composition which contains a vinyl polymer compound, having a phenolic hydroxyl group and insoluble with water and soluble with an alkali solution and contains a photosensitive compound effecting as a positive on an aluminum support body, then the lithographic printing plate is exposed to light and developed with a developer, containing at least one kind of sugar selected from nonreducing sugar and containing at least one kind of base and having pH range of 9.0 to 13.5. |
