<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe and compact device for discharging residues, which has a high heat exchange efficiency for the high temperature powdery residues by-produced on a thermal decomposition and can surely prevent the blockage of a residue exit or the like and the adhesion of the residues on the carriage of the residues. SOLUTION: Before the residues are carried, air in a conveyer casing 1 and a residue-storing hopper 12 are replaced with a noncombustible gas supplied from a noncombustible gas-supplying device 17. The residues from a thermal decomposition device are carried to a conveyer 4 built into the conveyer casing 1, cooled with a cooling medium in a cooling passage formed in the outer casing 3 of the conveyer casing 1 on the way of the carriage, and then stored in a residue-storing hopper 12 disposed at the final end of the conveyer 4. A blade 26 is rotated, when a residue bridge formed at a place near to a residue exit in the residue-storing hopper 12. Thereby, the blockage of the residue exit with the residues can be prevented.</p> |
