<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which a route up to a destination is guided while the present position of a communication-terminal carrier is being specified by a method wherein a communication terminal such as a portable telephone, a wristwatch or the like equipped with a GPS function is combined with a dedicated map to be output as a sheet of paper or the like. SOLUTION: The road guidance system is provided with an output means by which the dedicated map with an installed coordinate axis is output and a position-information acquisition means which receives a signal from a satellite by the communication terminal and which acquires the present position of the communication-terminal carrier. The acquisition means displays the present position of the carrier on the screen of the communication terminal by using the same coordinate axis as the coordinate axis installed on the dedicated map so that the position can be specified on the dedicated map to be output by the output means.</p> |
