PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a fin-wound heat exchanger tube and a method for forming a support therefor, where fins at a heating tube support of a vertical exhaust heat recovery boiler can be readily processed at a low cost, and the fins are surely prevented from having high-temperature creep strain that may be of concern during operation. SOLUTION: The fins at a position supported by a hanging support 31 are pressed, in advance, into a flat shape to obtain pressed deformation fins 33. Accordingly, there is no possibility of forming an undesired gap between the fins 33 and the support 31 caused by the creep strain of the fins 33 during the operation of the exhaust heat recovery boiler, and hence the oscillation of a fin-wound heating tube 34 can be prevented. Moreover, since the fins can be readily processed by just pressing them into a flat shape, no special device is required therefor. Alternatively, the support of the heating tube may be formed, by permitting the fins to face a flat fixture 37, in advance and pressing the fins in an inner radial direction of the heating tube 34 at the portion contacting the support 31 at the lower side of the heating tube 34. Thus, since in this way, only a small loading is required for pressing the fins into a flat shape with the use the flat fixture 37, the heating tube will not suffer damages. |
