PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which enables more uniform cleaning of an electrifying member all over the area in the axial direction by improving cleaning ability at both ends of the electrifying member. SOLUTION: A cleaning member 10 is energized by the spring force of four springs 13, 14, 15 and 16 provided in the longitudinal direction of a supporting member 11 through a holding member 11 so as to abut on the electrifying member 9. The four springs 13, 14, 15 and 16 are all the same and are provided near to both ends of the member 10 two by two. Thus, the spring force to press the member 10 is larger at both right and left ends than at the center part of the member 10, so that the abutting force of brush flocked fibers 10a on the member 9 is larger at both right and left ends than at the center part of the member 9. The cleaning ability at both ends of the member 9 is improved and the member 9 is more uniformly cleaned all over the area in the axial direction.
