PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure for easily obtaining a step motor that is capable of stable drive with much low power consumption than a conventional one. SOLUTION: A first stator component that is made of a high-permeability material and a second stator component are connected via a connection part that is made of a low-permeability material or a nonmagnetic material, a pair of recesses are provided at the inner periphery of a rotor hole, and a rotor- positioning member is fitted to and retained at a bottom board, thus composing the step motor and hence reducing an average power consumption value to approximately 2/3 as compared with before and hence drastically reducing power consumption.
