PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector capable of being protected at least a circuit board. SOLUTION: This detector is provided with a float arm 2 provided with a float floating on a liquid surface, an arm holder 4 for holding the float arm 2, a frame 3 for jurnaling the arm holder 4, the circuit board 7 fixed to the frame 3, a contact point holding member 5 having a slide contact point 6 sliding on the circuit board 7 and fixed to the arm holder 4, and a protection part 20 for protecting at least the board 7 on the frame.
