PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a gas storage amount in explosion to improve precision in specification of an accident cause though the gas storage amount in explosion is hardly estimated conventionally. SOLUTION: This gas storage amount estimating device 1 is provided with an information storage means 2 storing a container yard information group I1, an initial speed information group I2, and a peak pressure information group I3, an initial speed deciding means finding a calculated initial speed by using the shape, the weight and the dispersion distance of an exploded object dispersed in actual gas explosion and correcting the calculated initial speed with the initial speed information group I2 for finding a corrected initial speed, an explosion peak pressure estimating means 4 estimating an explosion peak pressure matching the corrected initial speed by using the peak pressure information group I3, and a gas storage amount estimating means 5 estimating an explosion time gas storage amount stored in the gas container yard in the gas explosion by using the explosion peak pressure.
