PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission belt with superior wear resistance causing no separations between rubber foundation cloths even when traveling for a long time and blocking sound generation during a back face drive. SOLUTION: In a V-ribbed belt 1, a compressed rubber layer 4 provided with rib parts is arranged adjacent to an adhesive rubber layer 2 embedded with cores 3 along a belt longitudinal direction and a fiber base material 6 is laminated on a belt back face. In the fiber base material 6, a foundation cloth 7 woven from warps and wefts composed of a filament yarn or a spun yarn of cotton or nylon fiber and a foundation cloth 8 woven from warps composed of a filament yarn or a spun yarn of aramid fiber and wefts composed of a filament yarn or a monofilament yarn of aramid fiber are combined via an adhesive.
