PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the overheat of a screed device and a harness in an asphalt finisher. SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 1 for detecting the temperature of a screed plate is connected to a controller 2. The battery power source of a fan motor 4 is turned on and off, and a power source relay 3 for switching the input of the power source of the controller to a battery 5 or an alternator 6 is controlled by the controller. In the case that the temperature of the screed plate is a reference value or more, the power source is supplied from the battery to the fan motor and the controller by the control of the controller. Even when an engine is stopped while the screed plate is heated, a wind fan is driven by the battery until the temperature of the screed is lowered to a prescribed value to prevent the overheat of the screed device and the harness.
