PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure differential pressure of high and low pressures of a compressor by using an excess refrigerant, at low atmospheric cooling operation time and to accurately control a driving frequency of the compressor. SOLUTION: An air conditioner controls the steps for storing a liquid refrigerant recovered in a receiver in an outdoor heat exchanger (step 13), when it is decided that the atmospheric temperature is abnormally low (step S11); and when it is decided that the difference pressure of high and low pressure of the compressor is not sufficient (step S12); lowering the rotational speed of an outdoor fan when the difference is low (step S14); and lowering a heat exchanging capability of the outdoor heat exchanger to ensure the difference. Then, a high-pressure value used for variously controlling is calculated by using an inferred value of a saturated temperature corresponding to the high pressure. |
