PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustable leg device improved to perform coarse adjustment by easy operation while using a general standard screw. SOLUTION: This adjustable leg device for adjusting the height or the angle of a projector is constituted of a leg member having a grounding end (3) and a shaft part (5) extended from the grounding end, casing (2) equipped with a hole through which the shaft part is inserted, a lock member (10) sliding in the casing so that it can move to contact with/separate from the shaft part, an energizing means (9) energizing the lock member in a direction where the lock member press-contacts with the shaft part, an operation member (6) exerting force to displace the lock member in a direction where the lock member is separated from the shaft part, and a force transmitting means (18) for transmitting the force exerted on the operation member to the lock member. Thus, the position of the shaft part is held usually by press-contacting force exerted on the lock member ordinarily and by operating the operation member so that the lock member is separated from the shaft part, the position of the shaft part is freely adjusted.
