The density element(s) are upstream of the surface element(s). Preferred Features: The volume element may be a plate, cylinder or sleeve with the flat element(s) on its outer surface(s). The volume element has non-woven metal or ceramic fibers. Where the module is cylindrical, the gas flows into the tube and then passes radially through the walls of the tube. |
