PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel food container wherein an accompanying foodstuff such as a seasoning or an ingredient for seasoning can be simply and reliably poured in without opening a lid and contaminating a hand, and wherein need of a coat film is eliminated, whereby a product manufacturing line can be simplified. SOLUTION: The food container comprises a container body whose cross section is formed as an approximate recess and a lid which can open/close an upper opening of the container body. An accessory storage recess which opens toward the container body is formed on a plane of the lid, wherein an opening of the recess is sealed by a strip seal with an accessory stored. A free end of the strip seal is led out of the container body with the lid mounted. In addition, the lid is locked with the container body with such strength that, when the seal is pulled to open the accessory storage recess, it does not float from the container body. |
