摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular engine control system capable of transmitting sufficient torque with the required minimum energy consumption without depending on a friction-type electromagnetic clutch or a hydraulic clutch. SOLUTION: A two-way clutch 50 is provided with an inner ring 51, an outer ring 54 provided concentrically with the inner ring 51, an annular cage 53 provided between the inner ring 51 and the outer ring 54 relatively displaceable in the circumferential direction, and a roller 52. The two-way clutch 50 becomes the first engaged state in idling of the outer ring 54 to transmit torque of a starter motor 17 from the outer ring 54 to the inner ring 51 through the roller 52, and it becomes the second engaged state according to the rotation of the inner ring 51 to transmit torque of the engine from the inner ring 51 to the outer ring 54 through the roller 52.</p>
