PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system by which a user can display or cannot display a desired landmark easily on a map image. SOLUTION: When the landmark of a convenience store and that of a gasoline station are already selected by a menu so as to be displayed on a display screen DP, they are preset by pressing down a preset key PK for a definite time. After they have been preset, the landmark of the convenience store and that of the gasoline station are changed over so as to be displayed (a) or so as not to be displayed (b) whenever the preset key PK is pressed. |
