PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial equipped with a liquid crystal display unit realizing the miniaturization of a camera by reducing the arranging space for a mode dial and a liquid crystal display unit arranged in the camera and improved in operability and visibility. SOLUTION: The camera is equipped with an annular dial 18 arranged in the camera and capable of being turningly operated, and the liquid crystal display unit arranged in the inside area of the dial 18, and it is constituted so that the pattern of a photographing mode displayed on the liquid crystal display unit is switched in accordance with the turning operation position of the dial 18. It is equipped with an operation button 25 operated to be depressed in the inside area of the liquid crystal display unit. Since the liquid crystal display unit is integrated with the dial 18 for setting a mode and arranged in the camera, the arranging space on the camera is made smaller than in the case the dial and the liquid crystal display unit are individually arranged, and correspondence relation between the turning operation of the dial and the displayed pattern is definite and the operability of the camera and the visibility of display are improved.
