PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic film image pickup device which has a supporting means capable of supporting the photographic films, a dark box for shielding the undeveloped photographic films on the supporting means from external rays and a first image pickup mechanism for picking up the images generated on the undeveloped photographic films coated with development processing agents by IR and supported by the supporting means and is capable of picking up the images of the photographic films in both of the state of the undeveloped photographic films and the developed photographic films under the image pickup conditions good for the objective photographic films. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the second image pickup mechanisms 30r, 30g, 30b, 19 and 22 for picking up the images of the developed photographic films which are subjected to developing and fixing processing and are supported at the supporting means 6 with visible light.
