摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for surely and stably injecting a fixed quantity of adhesive in a short time into an optical fiber insertion hole (the hole) of an optical connector part such as a ferrule. SOLUTION: In injecting an adhesive into an optical fiber insertion hole with an injector, by using a holder 10 that has a holding part 13 for a ferrule 100 and freely performs reciprocating motion, an injector 20 that has a needle 22 for injecting adhesive, an injector driving unit 30 that moves the injector needle for inserting and pulling the needle in and out of the hole in the ferrule, a device that is connected to the holding part 13 and sucks the inside of the hole, and a piston driving unit 40 that is connected to the piston 23 of the injector and drives the piston stepwise for each injecting portion; the adhesive is injected while the inside of the hole is sucked from the side opposite from the injecting. Suitably, the adhesive is injected while the injector needle is slightly moved in the direction of pulling it out of the hole.
