PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gable roof structure capable of easily giving special design variation with depth to a roof shape and effectively protecting the upper central part of a gable wall liable to be damaged by wind and rain without adopting special working and special settling difficult to be industrialized and pre-cut. SOLUTION: In this roof structure of gable roofs 14a, 14b, 14c having reference verge end faces parallel to gable walls 11a, 11b, 11c of a dwelling house building 10, gable tip parts 16a, 16b, 16c in the roof top parts 15a, 15b, 15c are projected forward over the reference verge end faces, the gable tip parts 16a, 16b, 16c are smoothed to the reference verge end faces in the midway of both side verges 20a, 20b, 20c, so that at least the upper parts are projected obliquely from the reference verge end faces as oblique verge parts 17a, 17b, 17c.
