PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily manufactured, efficiently working, reliable and improved drive belt. SOLUTION: A protrusion part 14 in a front side of the transverse element 4 is horizontally extended and a depression part 15 in a rear side of the transverse element 4 is also horizontally extended in the same way. The protrusion part 14 and the depression part 15 are formed at least partially in a second portion 12 of the transverse element 4.
