PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install and separate a boarding bridge. SOLUTION: This boarding bridge is provided with an angle sensor 13 for detecting a turning angle of a rotunda 4, a position sensor 14 for detecting the length of a tunnel part 5, an angle sensor 15 for detecting a turning angle of a cab 6 and an angle sensor 16 for detecting a turning angle of a driving wheel 9. A control mechanism calculates a required travel distance and an angle up to a prescribed installing position P2 from a present position P1 of the driving wheel 9 when selecting a kind of aircraft 3, and makes the driving wheel 6 rectilinearly travel toward the installing position after rotating the driving wheel 9 once in the direction of the installing position.
