PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which prevent thermal deterioration of a pressure body due to excessive temperature rise of a core bar of the pressure body, and to provide an image forming device provided with the fixing device. SOLUTION: The electric energy per prescribed time which is supplied from a power source to a heater 35(c) is set to a prescribed quantity so that the temperature of a core bar 26 of a pressure roll 22 is kept at a prescribed temperature or lower.
