PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate risk of deteriorating sealing capability and damaged appearance of the part of a roof weather strip fitted on a cut-off part, wherein the risk resulting because the apt of a roof weather strip is easy to slip off owing to its insufficient fitting on a retainer, as the cut-off section is formed at a front pillar lower end part of the retainer in a conventional hardtop car. SOLUTION: The weather strip is fitted on the upper half of a door opening edge of a body panel 30 on the hardtop car, via the retainer 20 consisting of a holding apt 21 and a lining part 22. On the lower end pat 32 of the front pillar 31, a hooking joint projection 13 is provided on the end part 12 of a hollow seal part 11 fitted on the cut-off part 23, which is formed by cutting off the holding part 21 on the front end of the retainer 20, wherein the hooking joint projection 13 being hooked and jointed with a gap 24 formed between the lining part 22 on the front end of the retainer 20 and the front pillar 31. |
