PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-cost and small image forming device which is adaptive to high image quality and reproduces original information without distortion, even in the case of using an inexpensive reading optical system where distortion aberration is not excellently compensated and an inexpensive writing optical system where non-constant velocity is not excellently corrected. SOLUTION: A read original D is placed on the contact glass 11 of an image reading part 1. The original D is illuminated by an illumination optical system 12 arranged under the glass 11. After illuminating light reflected on the original D is reflected and deflected by the 1st mirror 13a of a 1st traveling body 13, it is successively reflected and deflected by the 1st mirror 14a and the 2nd mirror 14b of a 2nd traveling body 14. The light emitted from the 2nd mirror 14b of the 2nd traveling body 14 is guided to a reading and image forming optical system 15 having distortion aberration characteristic that the distortion aberration in the writing optical system is compensated, and formed into an image on the input surface of a line sensor 16 by the optical system 15 without distortion. |
