PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system that can differentiate an area where a control signal for unlocking a door lock is effectively received, from an area where a control signal for an engine starter is effectively received. SOLUTION: This vehicle control system is provided with a portable apparatus 10 for sending output signals, and a vehicle control device 20 for outputting an operation command signal to a door lock mechanism of an automobile and an operation command signal to the engine starter. The portable apparatus transmits the output signals for various commands on the basis of input from an instruction input part 11 instructing action to be taken by the vehicle control device. The vehicle control device receives the output signal transmitted from the portable apparatus and notifies a door control part 25b and an engine control part 25a according to command contents, and each control part executes specified control. Upon receiving the output signal for an unlock command, receiving sensitivity is made low to narrow a receiving area. |
