<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin manhole for ribbed pipe having a strength sustaining a crushed stone foundation and free of generation of any sewage sump while easiness in execution of works is wll maintained. SOLUTION: The resin manhole for circular pipe is furnished in the upstream with a socket in which a rubber ring is fitted at the inside surface of the forefront part, with a spigot in the downstream, and an inspection cylinder connecting part in the over-part, and the socket and spigot are inscepted for a certain distance from their forefronts so that a socket part and spigot part are formed, and the diameter of the socket part is enlarged in compliance with the outside diameter of the ring-shaped ribs on the pipe so that a manhole body is established, and the arrangement is configured with this manhole body, a socket member consisting of a short pipe furnished with ring-shaped ribs at the periphery at a certain pitch, and a spigot member consisting of a major diametric portion and minor diametric portion furnished with ring-shaped ribs at the periphery at a certain pitch and arranged so that the pipe axis of the minor diametric portion is positioned eccentrically from the axis of the major diametric portion, whereby the socket member and spigot member are fitted on the diametrically enlarged socket part and the spigot part, respectively, so that joining together is established.</p> |
