PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure with application of the principle of an ink jet printer capable of stably performing a spotting without having a thermal effect on a sample solution and suppressing the waste of the sample solution in a spotting head, spotting device and spotting method. SOLUTION: This spotting head 1 for spotting the sample solution 5 for biological sample detection to a test plate 2 comprises a head body 11 provided with a housing part 11a for housing the sample solution 5 in the inner part and having an injection port 11b communicating with the housing part 11a; a pressure transmitting medium 6 contained in the housing part 11 together with the sample solution 5 and non-mixable to the sample solution 5; and a pressure imparting mechanism 13 mounted on the head body 11 to impart a pressure to the sample solution 5 through the pressure transmitting medium 6.
