RETAINER DEVICE FOR CARRYING CUP IN CONTINUOUS AND AUTOMATIC FILLING AND PACKAGING MACHINE FOR CUPPED FOODSTUFF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel retainer device which can save time and labor for entirely replacing a retainer every time cups differ in size or shape in a continuous and automatic filling and packaging machine for cupped foodstuffs. SOLUTION: A retainer conveyer intermittently traveling from under a cup supplying device to under a product carrier is extended. A socket for hanging supplied cups in contact with a surface is provided on one of surfaces of numerous retainers constituting the conveyer. A socket for hanging cups in contact with a surface having a different size and shape from that of the above socket is provided on the other surface of each retainer. One of the sockets on the surface and the other surface is brought oppositely to a cup lowered surface of the cup supplying device by a reverse rotation of the retainer for sequentially hanging the lowered cups in contact with the surface for carrying. Thus the retainer device for carrying cups in the continuous and automatic filling and packaging machine for cupped foodstuffs is provided.
