PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a flowmeter, simplify a system, and enhance measuring accuracy. SOLUTION: This flowmeter has both of a flow rate detecting means 10 for detecting flow rate and a leakage discrimination means 13 for detecting leakage, by using an acoustic signal to be detected with at least one of transmitter-receiver means 7, 8 installed in a flow passage 6, and one sensor conducts both of flow detection and leakage detection with the transmitter- receiver means used for flow detection. Thereby, miniaturization of the flowmeter and the simplification of the system can be facilitated, and since the leakage discrimination means 13 and the transmitter-receiver means 7, 8 can be approached, the influence of noise or others is decreased, and detection accuracy of leakage can be enhanced. |
