PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent side frames from inclining inward by a weight applying method of an upper turning body when the side frames are overhung from extension beams in a conventional crawler type traveling body. SOLUTION: Hydraulic cylinders 10a to 10d are arranged between arm parts 3a to 3d and the side frames 4a and 4b. When upper parts of the side frames 4a and 4b incline inside, the hydraulic cylinders 10a to 10d are extended, and the upper parts of the side frames 4a and 4b are pushed outward. When the upper parts of the side frames 4a and 4b incline outside, the hydraulic cylinders 10a to 10d are contracted, and the upper parts of the side frames 4a and 4b are pulled inward. Thus, the hydraulic cylinders 10a to 10d are extended and contracted, and a relative angle of the side frames 4a and 4b of a lower frame 3 or the extension beams 7a to 7d is adjusted to and maintained at a proper angle.
