PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device for a vehicle improved to cause no problem even if using a synthetic resin including a fastened part of a spring. SOLUTION: This wiper device 1 for the vehicle is provided with an arm 5 for supporting a blade 3; a head 7 pivotally supporting one end of the arm and connected to a drive shaft 6; and a tension coil spring 8 with one end fastened to the arm and with the other end fastened to the head. An L-shaped end part 15 formed at one end of the spring is rotatably inserted in a hole 14 formed in the head or arm. The fastened part of the spring to the head or arm can thereby be formed as a face contact part, so that wear resistance can be improved.
