PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor capable of measuring torques even at high temperatures or in an environment where water or oil exists, while being structurally simple, inexpensive and highly reliable. SOLUTION: The torque sensor includes a shaft 1 with a magnetized part magnetized to produce a magnetic field matching the strength of torque applied, and a magnetic field detection means placed near the shaft 1 for detecting the strength of the magnetic field generated by the torque applied to the shaft 1, with the shaft 1 being separated from the magnetic field detection means, and the detection means being detachably mountable to a housing 30 or the like containing the shaft 1.
