PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit or prevent generation of hydrogen due to electrolysis of moisture in grease so as to prevent separation of a rolling bearing for an extended life by suppressing static caused by friction between a belt and a pulley, and keeping a potential difference between a rolling element and a bearing ring at 1 V or less. SOLUTION: The outer surface of the pulley 2, including the outside diameter surface 2E of the pulley 2 with which the belt 3 makes sliding contact and the inside diameter surface 2I of the pulley 2 fitted over a rotating shaft 4, is coated by electrodeposition to form an insulating paint film that is 10 to 40 μm thick. Thus, an electrical resistance value after 10 hours of operation is 1 MΩor higher and static produced by friction between the pulley 2 and the belt 3 is -1 kV or less, so that the potential difference between the rolling element and the bearing ring can be kept at 1 V or less. |
