PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens supporting device and a lens unit capable of bringing out the optical performance of a lens and capable of inserting a field frame between the lenses. SOLUTION: The lens supporting device is provided with a lens frame 14 supporting the 1st lens L1 and the 2nd lens L2 arranged in an optical axis direction, and a lens presser member 22 and the field frame 21 arranged between the lenses and abutting on the lenses, and the member 22 is equipped with an external flange part 22c energizing two lenses in a direction where they are separated from each other, whereby the 2nd lens L2 whose edge is thinned in thickness need not be thermally caulked though two lenses can be attached to the lens frame 14 without backlash by the energizing force of the flange part 22c. Thus, the deformation of the lens is restrained and the optical performance thereof is achieved.
