PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus having structure in which the content of toner in developer is accurately detected with a toner concentration sensor in an image forming device using two-component developer having toner and carrier being magnetic substance. SOLUTION: This developing apparatus is equipped with: a supply roller 23 attracting the developer by magnetic force in order to supply the toner to a photoreceptor drum; a regulating plate 24 provided near the peripheral surface of the roller 23 and regulating the developer stuck to the peripheral surface of the roller 23 so as not to exceed desired sticking amount; the toner concentration sensor 25 provided in relation to the plate 24 and detecting the content of the toner in the developer regulated by the plate 24 and separated from the roller 23; and a magnetic member 27 concentrating magnetic flux on the vicinity of the detection surface D of the sensor 25 and provided in the vicinity of the detection surface D of the sensor 25 so as to secure the stable amount of developer. |
