PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber type optical parts having structure capable of easily obtaining desired wavelength characteristics. SOLUTION: In a distributed compensator 200 in which different kinds of optical fibers 4, 5, 7 are connected in a casing body 1, different kinds of optical fibers 4, 7 are fusion-spliced via an intermediate fiber 6 and also a fusion splicing part 13 is fusion-spliced by shifting its core axis. Thus, the wavelength characteristics are easily changed by changing a shifting quantity of the core axis and a heat treatment method and selecting a good compatible intermediate fiber. |
