PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the backlash quantity of a mesh part well without selectively assembling a dimensionally controlled worm or the like and to suppress the backlash quantity even if the wear of teeth is increased. SOLUTION: An elastic body 6 is provided in the position facing the rotating region of a worm 3 on the outer peripheral side to be the tooth part of a worm wheel 4. The elastic body 6 is brought into contact with a tooth tip face 30a of the worm 3 to apply preload to the mesh part to thereby suppress the backlash quantity. |
