PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink supply type ribbon cassette using an ink direct liquid system in its ink supply mechanism capable of supplying a relatively large amount of ink, being miniaturized, not having a problem of the transfer residue loss of ink, and not generating trouble such as the leaching of ink, without the leak thereof or the like often becoming a problem in the direct liquid system. SOLUTION: An ink leak preventing member of the ink ribbon cassette is arranged so as to surround an ink transfer member, and is provided in the vicinity of the outside communication part of the ink transfer member of the direct liquid type ink supply mechanism equipped with at least an ink chamber, an air chamber and the ink transfer member.
