PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a printing throughput and control by making full use of the performance of a space motor, by properly setting a load factor of the space motor. SOLUTION: An output port 1 of a space motor control LSI 14 is connected to a transistor TR1 and an AND gate 16, and an output port 2 is connected to a transistor TR2 and an AND gate 18. An output port 3 is connected to the AND gate 16 and the AND gate 18. An output port 4 and an output port 5 are connected via a resistor R4 and a resistor R5 to a plus input terminal of a comparator 20 respectively. An output terminal of the comparator 20 is connected to the AND gate 18 and the AND gate 16. An output terminal of the AND gate 18 is connected to a transistor TR4, and an output terminal of the AND gate 16 is connected to a transistor TR3. Emitter terminals of the transistors TR3 and TR4 are connected to a minus input terminal of the comparator 20. A set voltage of the comparator 20 is made variable by controlling the output ports 4 and 5, so that a current flowing to the space motor 5 is made variable.
