An air conditioning apparatus for vehicles includes a scroll casing (2) of a blower having a volute air duct and a heat exchanger unit (3). The heat exchanger unit (3) is connected to the scroll casing (2) and has an air introduction port (11) communicating with an air discharge port of the scroll casing. An air-straightening wall (12) rectifies the air discharged from the air discharge port. The air-straightening wall is disposed at the position corresponding to a radially inward position of both the air discharge port of the scroll casing and the air introduction port of the heat exchanger unit. By the air-straightening wall, noise may be suppressed and blowing efficiency in a wide range between high pressure loss operation and low pressure loss operation may increase, thereby noise in high pressure loss operation may be effectively suppressed and decrease of blowing efficiency may be prevented. <IMAGE> |
