PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily conform to various stroke characteristics in a hydraulic braking device formed with a closed chamber between a master piston and a power piston. SOLUTION: The power piston 21 is disposed behind the master piston 12 through a closed chamber R3, and the output power hydraulic pressure of an auxiliary hydraulic pressure source 40 is supplied into a power chamber R6 formed behind the power piston 21, through a pressure regulating means. Further, a cylinder 2h is formed integrally with a second housing 2 jointed to a first housing constituting a master cylinder, and its hollow part is communicated and connected with the closed chamber. A stroke regulating means is provided comprising a piston 51 slidably stored in a liquid-tight state in the hollow part of the cylinder, and a spring 52 stored in the hollow part of the cylinder to energize the piston toward the closed chamber, and a brake fluid in the closed chamber is stored according to the pressure in the closed chamber to regulate the stroke of the power piston. |
