<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trolley wire wear detection method and its equipment wherein a complex current detector, a power source for detection, etc., are unnecessary. SOLUTION: In a trolley wire 4 including detection wires, the detection wires 1, 2 which are electrically isolated from a trolley wire main body 3 are included. In a wear detection method of the trolley wire 4, the detection wires 1, 2 and the trolley wire main body 3 are connected at the terminal of the trolley wire 4. At the starting part of the trolley wire 4, currents which flow in the detection wires 1, 2 by electromotive force generated when a current of an electric train flows in the trolley wire main body 3 are introduced to an operating coil 62, and a current flowing in the trolley wire main body 3 is introduced to the other operating coil 61. Magnetic members 36, 37 are magnetized by magnetic fields generated from the operating coils 61, 62, and existence of wear of the trolley wire is detected by using a magnetized state of the magnetic members 36, 37.</p> |
