PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly operate an image printing device while reducing the management cost of the image-printing device. SOLUTION: The development processing state evaluating device for evaluating the operating state of a development processing section DE in the image- printing device, which is provided with an exposure processing section EX for exposure processing of images to photographic sensitive materials 2 and the development processing section DE for development processing of the photographic sensitive materials 2, subjected to the exposure processing in the exposure processing section EX, is provided with a data processing means which suppresses the affecting components of the exposure processing in the difference information between the density measurement information of the photographic sensitive materials for calibration; and the materials are exposed with the image information for calibration of the development processing section in the exposure processing section EX and is subjected to the development processing in the development processing section DE; and the standard density information that the photographic sensitive materials for calibration should have to possess, when the materials are subjected to the proper development processing.
