PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water-type washing toilet seat, allowing a light signal to reach a receiving part by moving a transmitting part even in the presence of an obstacle between the transmitting part and the receiving one. SOLUTION: The hot water-type washing toilet seat A is provided with a toilet seat body and an operating implement 1 for the toilet seat, which permits the light signal to be transmitted to the receiving part of the toilet seat body in a fixed state so as to remotely control the discharge of washing water. The toilet seat A is characterized as follows: the operating implement 1 is provided with an operating implement body 2 fixed in a prescribed position and the transmitting part 3 movable relative to the implement body 2, which makes the light signal.
