PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail fixing nail capable of simplifying a structure while sufficiently securing tightening force and lateral resistance and tightening a rail by a simple construction method. SOLUTION: The rail fixing nail is composed of a pair of leg parts 11 formed to bend a linear material and driven into a sleeper 10, a depressing part 13 depressing the bottom part of the rail and fixed on a sleeper, and a connecting part 14 for connecting the depressing part and the upper end of both the legs. The rail is depressed and tightened on the sleeper by utilizing the elasticity of the connecting part by pressure-contacting the depressing part on the bottom part of the rail while elastically deforming the connecting part by driving both the leg parts into the sleeper.
