PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coating film on pulp moldings which can efficiently form uniform film of a desired performance on the surface of pulp moldings. SOLUTION: When a film layer is formed on the surface of the pulp molding, the pulp molding 1 are continuously allowed to rotate around a prescribed axis C at least from after the surface is coated with a paint until the undried coating film formed on the surface of the pulp molding 1 becomes tack-free.
